Learning objectives
The course aims to refine students' skills in contemporary written and spoken Chinese, building on their prior knowledge to develop more advanced abilities in text comprehension and oral and written communication in specialised contexts. The focus will be on communication within institutions, organisations, and companies. At the same time, the course also seeks to strengthen translation, communication, and text production skills, particularly in the domains of corporate communication and international cooperation.
Expected learning outcomes
By the end of the course, students will be able to read, listen to, and understand complex texts, thus being equipped to smoothly interact in complex multicultural contexts. Furthermore, they will be able to identify register variations linked to specific professional contexts and communication purposes, and to present their opinions both orally and in writing. At the end of the course, students are expected to achieve C1 proficiency in Chinese (HSK Level 5).
