French Specialised Translation

The course aims to introduce students, on the one hand, to the tools and strategies required for a translation practice grounded in the analysis of linguistic, terminological and textual aspects, and, on the other, to the development of critical and methodological analytical skills concerning the translation process itself.

By the end of the course, students will have acquired translation skills and competences suited to the various text types and genres explored during the course. They will be able to identify, rephrase and properly render the linguistic and cultural and specificities of French into Italian, using the appropriate tools and resources.
