Learning objectives
The course is designed to provide students with a solid understanding of the fundamental concepts and processes of business organisation, with particular focus on organisational design and dynamics, as well as human resource management. This includes staff recruitment, development and training, performance evaluation and staff incentives, and strategic levers for the effective organisation of people within corporate structures and work teams.
Expected learning outcomes
By the end of the course, students will have achieved the following learning outcomes:
- Knowledge and understanding: students will acquire knowledge and demonstrate understanding of business organisation mechanisms, with particular attention to human resource management.
- Applying knowledge and understanding: students will have gained the methodological and conceptual tools to understand organisational challenges and HR management dynamics, as well as to define recruitment activities, training and development interventions, and systems for performance evaluation and staff incentives.
- Making judgements: students will develop the ability to assess the effectiveness of organisational processes in workplace dynamics, including their impact on organisational performance and business success.
- Communication skills: students will learn the specific terminology of business organisation, with particular reference to human resource management.
- Learning skills: the knowledge acquired during the course will enable students to develop independent and interdisciplinary learning skills.
