Learning objectives
This optional professional training activity will allow the student to complete the acquisition of the competencies required by the integrated courses attended during the year, through attendance in the Pharmacological Departments
Expected learning outcomes
The student will be able to select appropriate antimicrobial therapy based on pathogen, patient characteristics, and clinical scenario, adjust dose and route of administration according to organ function, drug interactions, and comorbidities, monitor therapeutic efficacy and adverse effects.

Professionalising activities pursue and are an integral part of the objectives and learning outcomes expected from teaching, as they confer the skills and abilities useful for applying knowledge in clinical practice
Teaching methods
Attendance in wards, day hospital, discussion of clinical cases.
Assessment methods and Criteria
Clerkship attendance and adequate exposure to practical training will be monitored and recorded. Clinical teaching will be carried out through the active involvement of students in the different dimensions of hospital practice.
