Learning objectives
The course aims to provide students with practical knowledge of data collection methods, observation, and interviewing, consistent with the approach of complexity science and integrated PNEI care in oncology from a biophysiological, psychological, and sociocultural perspective.
The educational objectives of the course are:
- to provide knowledge of the various data collection tools
- to provide knowledge for the correct identification of health objectives in a preventive context
- to provide knowledge for the correct identification of health objectives in a disease context
- to provide knowledge on the use of integrated care models and techniques for health gain
- to provide knowledge on planning methods according to priority criteria and continuous evaluation of the interventions carried out and the results obtained
Expected learning outcomes
At the end of the course, students will:
- have acquired knowledge of the main data collection tools and be able to apply them in their clinical practice;
- have developed the ability to reason based on the data collected in order to identify priorities for psychological care and integrated care;
- have acquired the ability to interact with other healthcare professionals to interpret data and define a care plan within integrated models;
- be able to design preventive psychological care interventions in the context of cancer, always providing a residual health approach;
- be able to apply integrated science theory in the analysis and evaluation of cases.
