The 20-hour course addresses the following topics:
· the public administration in Italy: preliminary definitory aspects
· the historical evolution of public administration in Italy
· the ministries and non-economic public bodies
· the local authorities and the regions
· the healthcare system
· the school system
· the judicial system

Prerequisites for admission
Basic knowledge acquired during the bachelor, preferably in social, economic, political, or legal sciences.
Teaching methods
Mainly lectures on the concepts and analytical tools of the discipline, with discussions on relevant cases or events from the Italian experience.
