Learning objectives

The student must demonstrate basic knowledge of the institutions of social security law.
- Applicative skills.
The student must demonstrate the ability to apply the notions learned to concrete contexts and specific cases concerning social security law, also with a view to taking the state examination for qualification as a certified public accountant.

The student must demonstrate the ability to take argued, up-to-date and legally tenable positions with reference to the issues covered by the course.

Expected learning outcomes
The student, for the purpose of successfully passing the examination, must be able to demonstrate knowledge of the characteristic features of social security law, highlighting new trends and evolutionary profiles of the subject. On the basis of this knowledge, students are required to take reasoned opinions with respect to the application of general principles to concrete cases, also with a view to taking the state examination for qualification as a certified public accountant.

From social security to social security. The legal system of social security. The contributory relationship. The social security legal relationship. The protection for disability, old age and survivors. The Protection for Unemployment. The Wage Supplementation Fund and solidarity funds. Family protection. Health Protection. Health care. Supplementary welfare. Corporate welfare.
Prerequisites for admission
No prior knowledge is required, with the exception of what is stipulated in the didactic regulations of the Degree Course in Business Administration, Law and Corporate Governance for the purpose of propaedeuticity with the other courses.
Teaching methods
Lectures will be accompanied by exercises on practical cases of social security law, of particular relevance to the business environment, and preparatory to the written test of the State examination for qualification as a chartered accountant and auditor

Assessment methods and Criteria
TThe examination will take place orally. The evaluation of the oral test will take into account the correctness of the contents, clarity of exposition, as well as the capacity for critical analysis and personal reworking.
Students will be able to take intermediate written tests, according to procedures that will be communicated during the lessons and published on the course's MyAriel page. These tests, which will contribute to the final assessment expressed in thirtieths, will focus on specific topics covered in the lessons and will be structured in the form of closed-ended questionnaires.
