Workshop: the Cinematographic Language

Learning objectives
The aim of the workshop is to introduce the main components of cinematic language (assembly, framing, machine movements, etc.) into the framework of their historical evolution. The teaching is fully consistent with the objectives of the Course of Studies, which aims to ensure the acquisition of solid knowledge in the fields of multimedia communication by anchoring them to a strengthening of the students' humanistic training.
Expected learning outcomes
By the end of the course, the student will have to have an adequate measure of Knowledge and Skills.
Knowledge: Acquire the technical-sector lexicon with which Film Studies refer to the language of film; learning the evolution of some forms of cinematic language throughout the history of cinema.
Skills: Know how to recognize and describe the different components of cinematic language.
