The course aims to provide general knowledge of the populations of pre-Roman Italy, with particular regard of some of them, which will be the subject of more detailed analysis.

Some regions of ancient Italy will be chosen in which to explore the main cultural indicators which compose its historical physiognomies from the early Iron Age to the Roman conquest; on the archaeological materials side, both with regards to local manufactures from which the peculiarities that express the autochthony can be deduced

Prerequisites for admission
Basic knowledge of Etruscology and Greek Archaeology is recommended.
