Learning objectives
· Provide the fundamental concepts relating to the principles of business administration and the role of organisations in the economic and social system
· Introduce the concepts of financial accounting and financial statements, illustrating the mechanisms for recording and representing business transactions
· Present the main business management processes, with attention to strategic, operational and organisational decisions
· Provide foundational knowledge on the economics and management of both private companies and public administrations, highlighting their specificities relative to private firms
· Develop critical thinking skills to connect the different areas of business administration (principles of business administration, accounting, management, public sector) within a unified framework
