Learning objectives
The teaching aims to deepen all aspects related to contemporary museology and the museum field, examining the National Museum of Science and Technology Leonardo da Vinci as a case study. To this end, each lesson is accompanied by the direct testimony of a professional who aims to clarify the operational methods in the field, connecting them with the theoretical and methodological aspects.
Expected learning outcomes
Awareness of the professional requirements necessary in the museum field. Awareness of the theory and practice related to the various professions within a museum. Knowledge of a range of methodologies, tools, and strategies involved in the operational actions of a museum.

There no requisites or pre-acquired knowledge necessary for attending the course.
Teaching methods
Within the premises of Italy's largest technical and scientific museum, students will have the opportunity to use the exhibitions, interactive workshops and the institution's resources as case studies, for in-depth analysis and for experimentation. To this end, each lesson is accompanied by a first-hand account from a professional, aimed at helping students understand how these operations work in practice, whilst linking them to the theoretical and methodological aspects of contemporary museology.
