Laboratory of Mathematical Physics
A.Y. 2026/2027
Learning objectives
The goal of this teaching is to improve the students' ability to understand and build mathematical models of relevant systems in mathematical physics, and to draw quantitative consequences from them. To this end, symbolic algebraic manipulators will be introduced that can assist in deriving and studying the fundamental equations of various considered models.
In particular, relevant examples will be treated coming from Classical
Mechanics, Dynamic Systems, theory of Partial Differential Equations of
Mathematical Physics, and Statistical Mechanics.
