Session 1/ 25th September, online: Care in daily life, and care as a concept.
Session 2/ 2nd of October, online: The ambivalent place of care in feminist debates.
Session 3/ 8th of October, online: The chains of care in a globalised world.
Session 4/ 16th of October, online: paid and unpaid work: valuing care from the economists' perspective.
Session 5/ 23rd of October, online: Policies and politics of the 'caring' society.
Session 6/ 30th of October: (Self)Care as a marketization (and marketing) opportunity.
Session 7/ 6th of November, online: The instrumentalization of care: politics and backlash.
Session 8-10/ 13th November, 20th November 27th November, online: Students presentations
Prerequisites for admission
Basic knowledge of sociological concepts
Teaching methods
Class presentation and discussion.
All classes will be held online on MSTeams.
