Learning objectives
The course aims to provide students with basic knowledge and conceptual tools related to Hygiene, Public Health, Forensic Medicine, Work and Organizational Psychology, and Business Organization, with specific reference to the professional profile of Child Neuro and Psychomotor Therapists.
the course aims to provide students with basic knowledge of the main areas of Hygiene, Public Health and epidemiology, as well as the principles of health promotion and the prevention of communicable and non-communicable diseases, knowledge of the main legal principles underlying the professional liability of Child Neuro and Psychomotor Therapists and of the principles of deontology, as well as basic notions concerning child protection and the social and private insurance framework, basic knowledge of organizational design principles, introducing the main models and tools for analyzing organizational structures and processes, with particular attention to understanding organizational choices and their implications in healthcare, basic knowledge of the main psychological and organizational processes affecting work in healthcare settings, with specific reference to motivation, work-related stress and burnout, teamwork, and conflict management
Expected learning outcomes
Students will be able to describe the fundamentals of epidemiology, interpret the main results of epidemiological studies, and illustrate the principles of health promotion and prevention of communicable and non-communicable diseases, with particular attention to vaccination; to understand the main legal and regulatory aspects relating to professional liability, deontology, child protection, and the insurance framework, and to apply them within their professional training and practice, to describe the main characteristics of organizational structures, understand organizational design decisions, analyze organizational processes and documents, and develop an initial diagnosis of organizational functioning in healthcare settings, to describe the main psychological and organizational factors influencing well-being, motivation, and collaboration in healthcare settings, recognizing dynamics related to work-related stress, burnout, teamwork, and organizational conflict.
