Learning objectives
The course aims to provide a general understanding of the mathematical treatment of Statistical Mechanics and Quantum Mechanics, as well as their applications.
Expected learning outcomes
By the end of the course, the student should demonstrate an understanding of the mathematical formalism of Statistical Mechanics and Quantum Mechanics; they should also be able to apply the methods acquired to the mathematically rigorous study of the main models and applications of the theory.
