Learning objectives
The aims of the course are:
- to know the physiopathological mechanisms of the main body diseases;
- to know the biometric methods for the study of growth, the growth curves and standards of normal growth, the most common developmental diseases, and the diagnostic and therapeutic possibilities;
- to know the fundamentals of the nursing profession;
- to know the main odontostomatological diseases, with particular attention to dental occlusion, dental development and facial profile;
- to know the principles of maxillofacial surgery, with particular attention to cleft lip and palate, traumatic and oncological pathology.
Expected learning outcomes
At the end of the course the student will have the basic knowledge related to the study of the growth of child in developmental age, and relating to the main developmental pathologies, the main internal and odontostomatological pathologies.
