Physics
A.Y. 2026/2027
Learning objectives
The course aims to provide the fundamentals of mechanics, thermodynamics, and electrostatics, with particular emphasis on developing a rigorous scientific method, both at the theoretical level and in solving simple physical problems. The course also aims to support the understanding of other core subjects within the degree program.
Expected learning outcomes
Acquisition of the knowledge and skills necessary for the correct interpretation of the main physical phenomena and the laws governing them. Ability to tackle and solve numerical exercises using appropriate mathematical tools, and to interpret graphs of physical quantities. The student will also be able to describe basic physical phenomena using appropriate scientific language.
