Practical Evaluation Internship

Learning objectives
Acquire basic skills in assessment and diagnosis, conducting psychological interviews, and psychological-behavioral interventions for the promotion of well-being according to an integrated care approach.
Develop the basic professional skills necessary to 1) carry out assessments and interventions for the promotion, maintenance, and rehabilitation of physical and mental health, in collaboration with other professionals; 2) carry out prevention, diagnosis, rehabilitation, and support interventions in the psychological field aimed at individuals, groups, social organizations, and communities.
Develop cross-cutting skills related to communication and interpersonal skills within a multidisciplinary team in a hospital and/or community setting.

Expected learning outcomes
At the end of the internship, students will have acquired the following skills:
- principles and guidelines for conducting an initial clinical interview;
- psychological anamnesis and integration with any organic disease;
- initial tools for developing an integrated treatment plan;
- knowledge relating to the analysis and interpretation of clinical cases;
- knowledge of how to write a clinical report;
- knowledge of psychological support interventions.

Assessment methods and Criteria
The final assessment of the knowledge and skills acquired will be evaluated by the company tutor and subsequently during the Practical Assessment Test (PPV). The PPV consists of an interview on the internship activity and code of ethics.
