In accordance with the stated objectives of the degree programme, they will refine their approach to language mediation, acquiring skills in the application of conceptual and practical tools (including language software and applications based on generative artificial intelligence) to languages for specific purposes.
Expected learning outcomes
Students will gain the theoretical knowledge required for contrastive metalinguistic analysis. They will also develop adequate general language skills to interact appropriately in advanced communication contexts, including professional settings (level B2 of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages). They will be able to communicate both orally and in writing on familiar topics and to read fairly complex texts, such as news articles or specialist texts. In terms of productive skills, they will be able to articulate their views on discussion topics and report in writing on issues pertaining to their studies using complex language structures; they will also be able to complete both oral and written translations concerning previously studied topics.
