Sedimentary Basins: Processes and Evolution
A.Y. 2026/2027
Learning objectives
To train geologists able to understand the geological processes that rule the different types of sedimentary basins, framed in a geodynamic scenario. Provide the tools required to apply the study of sedimentary basins to subsurface management.
Expected learning outcomes
Ability to understand processes that control the development of sedimentary basins, the sediments stored and their properties, as well as the evolution of sedimentary basins and reconstruction of the controlling factors. Interpretation of seismic profiles.
