Workshop: History of Feminism
A.Y. 2026/2027
Learning objectives
The workshop focuses on the movements and women who shaped the history of women's emancipation, with particular — though not exclusive — attention to the contemporary era. In life, the arts, literature, and poetry, women have been able to express their dreams and aspirations, giving rise to a profound transformation of social customs and cultural models of reference.
Held in Italian, the workshop will take into account the historiographical and critical debate surrounding these issues and aims to provide, through individual and group activities, an opportunity for discussion and exchange between teachers and students.
Taking place inside a prison in Milan, the workshop also encourages dialogue and interaction among people from different life experiences.
