The bachelor degree course in Public Management aims at providing:
· integrated managerial competencies deriving from various disciplines (economics, law, management, political science, sociology, statistics);
· in-depth knowledge of public organizations and the way they function;
· a better understanding of the needs of both citizens and firms for services from the public administration;
· the ability to work by projects and objectives;
· strong skills and competencies in using technological tools in administration and communication with the public;
· the ability to recognize and overcome the typical "bureaucracy traps", which often make it difficult for the public administration to work efficiently and effectively.

Quando lavora nelle amministrazioni pubbliche, il laureato in Management pubblico può operare a livello centrale, regionale o locale con responsabilità di medio grado.
Quando lavora all'esterno del settore pubblico, il laureato in Management pubblico può operare:
- nelle imprese, per la gestione di progetti in cui si intrecciano obiettivi aziendali e politiche pubbliche;
- nelle società di consulenza, per fornire ricerche e servizi basati sulla relazione con le amministrazioni pubbliche;
- nelle organizzazioni di categoria, per monitorare le politiche di settore;
- nei media, per migliorare le informazioni che riguardano i cittadini;
- nelle società di pubbliche relazioni, perché i contatti tra aziende e istituzioni si basino su elevati standard tecnici ed etici;
- nelle organizzazioni non profit, perché anche il bene va fatto bene.

The modules offered by our partners include core subjects and disciplines of Public Management. The choice of modules is made by students before their departure in collaboration with the programme coordinator; the credits are recognized officially and included in the curriculum at the end of the exchange period.
