The Master's degree programme in Health Professions of Technical Sciences (assistential) aims to provide the graduate with an education which allows them to:
· apply their baseline scientific knowledge at it pertains to their profession, and as needed to make decisions relating to the organisation and management of healthcare services rendered by healthcare technicians within clinical facilities;
· utilise skills in healthcare management and organisation in order to coordinate healthcare services, and to manage available human and technological resources, by using a cost-benefit analysis;
· supervise specific segments within a healthcare organisation from a technical perspective;
· use research methods and tools in the organisation of clinical services;
· allocate resources (human, technological, IT, financial resources) available to the healthcare facility;
· design and conduct training programmes for continuing education and updates for all relevant professionals;
· develop teaching skills for aspiring professionals in terms of tutoring operations, and internship coordination for first-level, complementary, and continuing education.
SKILLS ASSOCIATED WITH THE RELATED FUNCTION:
The graduate will be able to command and exercise high-level, advanced methods in research, training, and management in rehabilitative sciences within their Class.

PROFESSIONAL OPPORTUNITIES:
·- executive roles in healthcare facilities (organisation/supervision within a facility, and providing services at an effective level), passing all competitive-procedure testing as required;
·- university teaching, completing all testing required by applicable law;
·- research within their professional field.

L'accesso al Corso è programmato a livello nazionale ai sensi della Legge n. 264 del 2.8.1999.
Il numero degli studenti ammissibili è definito annualmente con Decreto del Ministero dell'Istruzione, della Università e della Ricerca (MUR), tenendo conto della rilevazione effettuata dallo stesso Ateneo in ordine alle risorse ed alle strutture didattiche e cliniche disponibili, nonché tenendo conto delle esigenze manifestate dalla regione Lombardia e dal Ministero della Salute in ordine al fabbisogno di personale sanitario del profilo professionale di riferimento della Classe.
La prova di ammissione per l'accesso al Corso consiste in una prova scritta basata su domande a risposta multipla.
La prova di ammissione si svolge in data stabilita dal MUR a livello nazionale.

Per l'ammissione è richiesto il possesso di laurea conseguita nella classe L/SNT3, o nella corrispondente classe di cui al D.M. 509/99, o di diploma universitario abilitante alla professione o di altro titolo equipollente (ai sensi della legge n. 42/1999), nonché coloro che sono in possesso di titolo di studio conseguito all'estero, riconosciuto idoneo.
La frequenza a tutte le attività didattiche previste dal manifesto degli studi è obbligatoria. L'introduzione di apposite modalità organizzative per studenti non impegnati a tempo pieno, prevista dal D.M. 22 ottobre 2004 n. 270, art. 11, comma 7, lettera i), non è compatibile con le caratteristiche fortemente professionalizzanti del Corso di Laurea Magistrale e con i vincoli orari ed organizzativi imposti dalla frequenza alle attività formative professionalizzanti.
Per essere ammesso a sostenere la relativa verifica di profitto, lo studente deve aver frequentato almeno il 75% delle ore di attività didattica formale e non formale previste per ciascuna attività formativa. In caso di mancato raggiungimento di tale livello di frequenza, il/i docenti responsabili possono indicare attività formative alternative, anche in forma di auto-apprendimento, che lo studente deve svolgere prima di essere ammesso all'esame. La frequenza obbligatoria alle attività pratiche non è sostituibile.
