The course, promoted by the Research Centre on spatial imagination "Geolitterae", aims at mapping closed spaces, through cultural and literary perspectives, also considering the crucial dimension of personal and collective memory. Especially after the Coronavirus emergency, rethinking closed spaces questions fundamental issues concerning identity, ethnicity and gender, forced or voluntary isolation, exile, reclusion, in the present and in the past
