Lead instructor: Elena Cattaneo
The course will give an overview on the state-of-the-art of stem cells for regenerative medicine and how genomic characterisation of individual cell states is helping to identify the correct way to orchestrate the cell fate in vitro for the generation of authentic disease-specific cell types. Moreover, it will inform on new emerging single cell technologies that allow single-cell fate mapping and methods to give spatial resolution to genomic measurements and how this can inform on the physiologic state of human tissues.
