The course aims to provide researchers in philosophy and human sciences with the practical and theoretical tools necessary to design and implement useful and effective research communication initiatives. The meetings will firstly provide a historical and theoretical framework, which will allow us to focus on both the transformations that have outlined new communication methods over time, and the reflections that have arisen within the PUS (Public Understanding of Science) studies. Secondly, great importance will be given to illustrating, through case studies and exercises, the peculiar elements to be taken into account in the design of a communication activity: the target audience to be addressed; the theme to be communicated; the objective to be achieved; the tools at one's disposal; the desired levels of participation. The last meeting will be entirely devoted to the design of an activity with which doctoral students can imagine communicating their research topic in philosophy and human sciences.
