Lead instructor: Marco Boffi
The course explores in a psychological perspective the relationship that people establish with places, allowing a description of the intangible aspects that characterize the perception of a physical place. Such a perspective makes it possible to delve into the emotional, cognitive and identity components that distinguish a community's relationship with its historical and cultural heritage. During the course, the exp-EIA© method will be presented, which allows for virtual and augmented reality exploration of existing places or their simulations referring to past or future conditions, while collecting data on psychological experience. In collaboration with guest lecturers in-depth case studies will be identified, investigated through field trips with the active inclusion of course participants.
