According to the aims set by the PhD course, the classes will analyze, in a diachronic and synchronic perspective, how historical sources have been used and manipulated in different contexts in the ancient, modern and contemporary world. Thanks to the multidisciplinary approach and the chronological period considered, the complex relationship between products of culture and societies will be investigated through focusing social and cultural transformations in different times and cultures.
