Lead instructor: Alberto Vezzani
Learning the basics of non-archimedean analytic geometry, focusing on recent developments and applications. They will include Huber's theory of adic spaces, Scholze's theory of perfectoid spaces, Fargues-Fontaine curves and, if time permits, Clausen-Scholze's notion of analytic rings.
Basic commutative algebra and algebraic geometry. Some knowledge of scheme theory and/or number theory will be useful but not necessary.
