The aim of the course, which is freely inspired by a posthumous work by Arthur Schopenauer, is to delve into a macro reflection on the meaning, and above all on the use, of the word logic and dialectics in the context of legal language. These two words indicate two distinct moments: the way of proceeding of reason, the first, and the art of dispute, the second, and where skilfully used they can lead the legal discourse to different and, sometimes, artfully conflicting outcomes. Each day will therefore be freely dedicated to a theme inspired by one of the 38 stratagems, having regard to the main problem of the conflict between the form of propositions (logic) and substance (dialectic of their content) in a reflection that involves, more generally, the art of obtaining reason in historical-juridical experience starting from the ancient world.
