Students will acquire competences in the field of eco-design. Eco-design, the core of circular economy, reduces the impact of human activities on biodiversity and common goods. Topics such as biorefinery, chemical recycling, use of CO2 as building block, biodegradable polymers, ecotoxicology, and life cycle assessment of materials and processes will be covered. The course is mandatory for first year students of cycle XXXIX.
