The course is designed to explore the topic of recidivism from both an economics of crime and criminal law perspective (with the support of Prof. Gian Luigi Gatta). The first part of the course will provide the necessary methodological tools to comprehend recent scientific studies in the field of economics. Specifically, the course includes a brief introduction to the most common econometric and statistical methods used in crime economics research.
