The course aims to provide the basis for research design that can grasp the questions coming from the real context and/or the scientific community and design a project that can provide valid answers from the point of view of the method used. Starting from the qualitative and quantitative approach, the different meanings of research validity, the methodological choices for constructing a research design and the different possibilities for producing qualitative and quantitative data will be presented, emphasizing the processual logic inherent to research. Aspects related to research communication and writing will be presented as tools that enable transparent and inspectable research design.
