The aim of the course is to introduce participants to the logic of the quantitative analysis of social phenomena. Univariate and bivariate descriptive analyses, basic principles of statistical inference, study of association, correlation, and regression models will be treated during the course. Students will be introduced to the use of statistical software Stata for running data analyses with the techniques discussed in the lectures.
