The course is intended for both geologists and engineers and aims to provide fundamental knowledge for understanding the operating principles of low-enthalpy geothermal energy, with particular focus on energy geostructures (EG). It also offers theoretical and practical tools for the analysis and design of EGs, along with concrete examples and case studies that illustrate their real-world functioning, promoting an applied and interdisciplinary understanding of the technologies covered.
