Fundamental Principles of Operation in Eu Policies

The aim of this series of lectures is to provide an in-depth analysis of the fundamental principles of the functioning (or structure) of the European Union, as applied to certain policies specific to the supranational system. Particular attention will be paid to the principles of subsidiarity and proportionality, the principle of loyal cooperation and mutual trust in relations between Member States. The aim is to provide each participant with an in-depth and cross-cutting understanding of the principles in question and their relevance to the selected policies, providing the tools needed to verify their consistency and scope, including in areas of European Union competence other than those specifically analysed.
