How to Read as a Phd Student

This module aims to further train students to read like PhD students, focussing on 6 complex academic monographs. Specific attention will be addressed to the methods the author uses, to the philosophy of social science that undergirds- either implicitly or explicitly- the methods used and the arguments made, and to the temporal dimension that the social world contains and that can be considered as a (complex) form of causality that is distinct from other causal phenomena.
