The course provides knowledge on the pre-Alpine and Alpine evolution recorded in various domains of the Alpine belt, throughout the analysis of crystalline basement and sedimentary cover units. This task will be gained by means of field trips in key localities for discussing tectonic events and their expression recorded in rocks from deep to shallow lithospheric levels.
