Listening comprehension: understanding phrases and the most common words related to family, shopping, local geography; understanding the main elements in short, clear, simple messages and announcements.

Programma
Reading and listening activities are scheduled in addition to the following topics: regular and irregular verbs (presente, futuro semplice, passato prossimo, imperfetto), modal verbs (dovere/volere/potere) most common verbs of everyday life, adjectives (qualificativi, dimostrativi, possessivi, comparativi, superlativi), conjugations, prepositions (semplici and articolate), personal pronouns.

Attendance: compulsory

Important: Students of the program Erasmus+ incoming must contact the Language Centre of the University through Infostudenti Service by selecting SLAM.
Prerequisiti
Students who attained a level lower than A2 at the entry-level test will have to attend the course.

The course consists of 60 hours of in-person learning.

Modalità di verifica dell’apprendimento e criteri di valutazione
To be admitted to the end-of-course test, students must have attended at least 75% of the course.

The assessment is computer-based. Students will have to sit for the test one week after the end of the course. It consists of three parts:

1. Reading comprehension: 2 readings
2. Listening comprehension: 1 listening
3. Language: 3 exercises on prepositions, conjunctions, adverbs, conjugations, and possessive adjectives.

Students who do not pass the test will have the opportunity to sit for the test one more time in the next semester.

Students with disabilities or with specific learning disabilities (SLDs) must contact SLAM through Infostudenti Service to receive special arrangements and support for the exam. (Students with disabilities: 50% of extra time; Students with SLDs 30%).
