Learning objectives
This course provides theoretical and practical knowledge for planning, programming and teaching foundation of movement education didactic, specifically referred to children between 5 and 11 years of age.
Topics will cover the organisation, relationships, education of exercise for children and will be applied in different environments (e.g. school, education and sport centres) for training a teacher/operator in Movement Education.
The course will include a broad spectrum of movement experiences that could be adapted to the different education environments.

Expected learning outcomes
At the end of the course, students will have acquired theoretical and practical knowledge for operating in the Movement Education environment, particularly referring to:
- Planning and organising projects for the Primary School environment; establishing relationships with different partners, such as private and public Institutions, Schools, Deans and Teachers.
- Developing didactic programs aiming at covering different needs of the partners.
- Organising the teaching activity with strong pedagogic and methodological backgrounds.
- Managing the monitoring and assessment of the project and the proposed activities.
