Course syllabus
Flora and vegetation analysis: methods of detection in different areas and on different scales. Vegetation mapping according to different features: land use, physiognomic-ecological-structural types and/or phytosociological and synphytosociological units. The vegetation series. Landscape hierarchical structure. Evaluation of environment quality.
Examples of the applications of Geobotany in the nature conservation, in agricultural, forestry and pastoralism activity, in environmental recovery, and in land use planning.
