Learning objectives
The course aims at introducing basic concepts related to behavior and structure of digital circuits, starting from digital logic fundamentals up to synthesis methodologies of logic networks.
Lab activities use the Logisim software for describing and simulating combinational and sequential networks.
The course consists in 36 lecture hours (4,5cfu) and 24 lab hours (1,5cfu).

Expected learning outcomes
Knowledge of basic elements related to design of logical networks. Ability of designing the structure and simulating the behavior of a logical network.
