1) fundamentals of computers, operating systems and compilers
2) data representation and approximate computation
3) fundamentals of procedural programming and control structures, functions and file management
4) C++ language with exercises on algorithms for array handling and basic problems of numerical analysis
Laboratory sessions:
1) Linux operating systems
2) exercises based on the lectures subjects
3) statistical analysis of laboratory data
4) introduction of graphical tools for presenting data analysis results (RooT)
