Learning objectives
The course provides an in-depth knowledge of anthropological approach to socio-cultural phenomena and an introduction to anthropological concepts applied to microcredit projects.
Expected learning outcomes
Trough anthological readings (in class and at home), students will acquire competences to interpret and
analyse critically the main socio-cultural phenomena in contemporary society. Furthermore, comparative
exploration of microcredit impact in different geographical contexts, will enable students to apply
anthropological concepts to the planning, implementation and evaluation of development and social
inclusion projects.
