Learning objectives
The course is devoted to develop the ability to understand, analyse and criticize the law in force, as well as to develop practical legal skills, through the examination of some general legal concepts and their role within the legal reasoning.
Expected learning outcomes
The students are required to learn and develop:
- basic notions and knowledge of legal method with specific reference to legal reasoning and fundamental legal concepts;
- The ability to apply theoretical concepts in practical situations related to Italian law as well as other legal systems;
- The ability to record, analyze and interpret legal discourses in order to make independent and critical judgments;
- The ability to communicate information, ideas, problems and solutions to both specialist and non-specialist;
- The development of appropriate skills and abilities required in order to understand and evaluate the nature, structure and functions of legal discourses.
