Course syllabus
With a preamble on the most recent developments of historiography, the course examines one of the most difficult period in the European relationships: the period of the Totalitarianisms, that represented the phase of a sort of 'self-dissolution' of the old Continent. The course will be focused on the history of the three totalitarianisms between the Two World Wars: the Soviet case, the German case, the Italian case, with a particular attention to the phase of their origins.
