Legal Clinic: "legal Gender Studies"

This course, which integrates the course of Teoria generale del diritto, aims to combine the tools of legal conceptual analysis with the objects and purposes of gender studies: through an interdisciplinary approach, we will examine the representations, constructions and effects of sexual orientations and gender identities. In particular, the course will focus on the Italian legislation and the Italian and UE case-law related with the concept of gender (and its distinction from the concept of sex), the legal construction of gender identities and, above all, gender discriminations.
