Learning objectives
Obiettivo del corso è mostrare che questioni pubbliche sollevano domande genuinamente filosofiche alle quali si deve dare la dovuta rilevanza. Per farlo occorre sottolineare 1) la pubblicità dello stile filosofico, che deve essere rigoroso senza rinunciare all'accessibilità (dunque uso di esempi concreti, esperimenti mentali e suggestioni letterarie o cinematografiche); 2) la pubblicità dei contenuti cui si rivolge l'attenzione filosofica, che devono riguardare la vita condivisa e le controversie politiche e morali da cui è attraversata. Mettendo a disposizione opportune conoscenze teoriche e applicate si tratterà di favorire l'apprendimento del linguaggio argomentativo e di sollecitare l'autonomia di giudizio necessaria a ragionare nel modo migliore su problemi relativi a decisioni individuali e pubbliche.
