Learning objectives
The course aims to provide students with a general overview of social, political and economic events in contemporary Spain by reading and analysing texts in Spanish. Students will acquire the appropriate skills in the areas mentioned above, a broad vocabulary to communicate with interlocutors (specialists and non-specialists) and the ability to analyse Spanish situation in an international context.
Grammar and syntax will be taught to students in order to achieve the level B1 according to the CEFR guidelines; in particular students will master language skills to read, understand and translate texts of medium complexity and to develop oral communication in professional contexts.
