Learning objectives
The course aims to deepen the analysis of the discourse genres belonging to the professional, economic, legal, political and journalistic fields with particular attention to the role that linguistic mediation plays in these fields. One of the fundamental objectives of the course is in fact the acquisition of skills and knowledge that can be put into practice in the many areas where mediation plays an important role in professional settings.

The course includes a theoretical introduction and an interactive part, in which students will have to demonstrate that they have acquired skills of expression, interlingual and intercultural mediation, as well as metalinguistic reflection through the analysis of texts. At the same time, the acquisition of syntactic structures specific to Spanish will be promoted.
Expected learning outcomes
At the end of the course, the student should achieve a linguistic competence not lower than level B2 of the European Framework of Reference. In addition, he/she will be able to expose the contents of the course in Spanish and develop independently the analysis and forms of mediation in the areas mentioned.
